-If any of our house rules and/or max occupancy rule is broken, there will be a $250 charge for each rule broken. -We are on a septic tank so PLEASE do not put food down the kitchen drain or pour grease down the drain. Please keep the food traps in the sink and empty them on a regular basis to prevent a foul smell. -In the bathrooms, toilet paper only should be put in the toilets. No paper towels or feminine products even if they say they are safe to flush. -We ask that the front porch, garage and back porch deck lights stay on at night for safety purposes. These are dust to dawn bulbs so the light will automatically come on and go off. These switches have been marked with a black dot on each. -Must be 25 years old to stay and book this home. -The fireplace is currently not operable but we have plans to have it working soon! -There is a spot in the garage for one small vehicle. To open the garage, guests will need to use the pad located near the washer and dryer on the wall. The keypad outside the garage door is not operating right now. When the guests leave the house, guests should always close the garage door. -There are beach chairs and umbrellas in the garage for you to use. Please wash them off after each use and place them in the garage. Take down the umbrellas on a windy day to prevent them from being bent. -Per the county ordinance, quiet time is 10PM-7AM. Please help us keep our neighbors happy! 😊 We do have neighbors, so please try to keep the noise to a minimum if you are hanging outside. ** PETS** -We only allow one dog, no cats. There is a $75 fee. -In the hall closet, we have provided blankets and sheets for the dog in a bag. Please place the blankets or sheets on the couches if your pet will join you on the couch. No dogs on the beds. If you leave your pet in the house, then please place them in a crate while you are away. Also, there is a dog bowl and leashes in the garage. We are so happy that you can bring your pet but we ask that you clean up after your dog . We have placed dog bags in the kitchen drawer on the right side. **FIREPLACE** -The fireplace is wood burning. -Guests will need to provide any additional firewood, matches, and/or appropriate fire-starter. -We recommend newspaper or kindling wood to start the fire, as well as matches. -Fireplace should only be fueled by dry, well-seasoned logs or wood pellets. -Fire extinguisher is located underneath the kitchen sink. -Flammable liquids should never be used to start a fire. -Fire exits are all windows and the front & back doors. -Utilize fireplace tools to tend the fire. -Never burn garbage, rolled newspaper, charcoal, plastic, or chemically-treated or painted wood in the fireplace. -Always make sure the fire is completely out before going to bed or leaving the house. -Always keep small children and pets away from the fireplace. -Never close the damper on your open fireplaces until the embers have completely stopped burning.
